Fort Adams Trust is thrilled to announce a significant expansion of its self-guided tour experience: for the first time ever, visitors can now explore the underground listening tunnels of Fort Adams as part of the public self-guided tour route. his enhancement to the visitor experience was made possible in part by generous funding from Ocean State Charities Trust. Their support has helped the Trust develop new interpretive signage, safety improvements, and engaging educational content that will guide guests through the tunnels while illuminating Fort Adams’ remarkable past.
